Made this for an extra MOPS event- Making nutritious snacks with kids. Easy base recipe compiled from a few different recipes I found online.
Basic Cheese ball:
1-8 oz package cream cheese, softened
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese (or other cheese of choice)
2-8 T mix ins- chopped onion, pepper, pickle, bacon bits, olives, tuna, smoked salmon, etc.
1 T ranch dressing (or other creamy dressing- experiment!)
Combine all above ingredients, form into a ball. Roll in parsley flakes, chopped nuts, seeds, or dried fruit. Mixture can be chilled to firm up before rolling.
Just add crackers!
