These can be made a zillion different ways. My girls beg me for these, and want to me to check the freezer to see if they’re done ever 5 minutes or so.
Most recently I used a package of raspberry jello mixed with home canned peaches that I chopped up and some extra fruit juice (frozen raspberry and blueberry from my mom’s berry patch). Heat a bit of the juice, add the jello to dissolve, than add in the rest. Pour in molds to freeze.
Pudding. Yum… my favorite!
Kool-aid without as much water added
Chopped or Blended fruit
combos of the above listed items
If you don’t want to sweeten with sugar and the fruit juice just isn’t sweet enough, try fruit juice concentrates, honey or jelly/jam.
I love tupperware popsicle molds, but only have a few compared to how many I needed, so I broke out some others that I don’t like as well (harder to get out the popsicles and harder to clean) If I’d needed to make more, I probably would have got out some small containers or maybe an ice cube tray and used craft sticks (or i’ve used plastic spoons before, but it’s harder) poked through aluminum foil to keep them in place while freezing. You can also use those little dixie cups.
